From 12th May 2026, all pupils are required to book and manage their own driving tests. It is illegal for instructors to do this on your behalf from this date.  Driving tests must only be booked during a lesson, with your instructor’s full agreement, and using their ADI number.

This is mandatory to ensure the booking is valid and properly coordinated.  If you wish to swap your test for a different date, we may assist in identifying a suitable pupil. However, the swap itself must be completed directly by the two pupils involved. 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you book or swap a practical driving test without your instructor’s prior permission. Failure to follow this rule will result in your instructor refusing to accompany you to your test.
